Did you know?

Did you know that the weaker a person brews coffee, the more bitter flavors the coffee will have? These flavors are sometimes called "off flavors". It's true. I know I can taste the difference when I make coffee with more water than I should be using. Actually if you look on the back of the bag of coffee, the recommended amount of coffee grounds to use is 2 Tbs. for every 6 ozs. of water. If you prefer weaker coffee, just add some hot water to your cup.

Here's a handy way to measure your coffee grounds, and take out all the guess work!

I came across this video, and thought that I would share it.
It's great seeing old commercials like this. Hope you all enjoy it!

Starbuck's Espresso Roast

Well, the bag says that the coffee is BOLD. And that it is. I really like this blend
from Starbucks. This coffee has a big flavor, with a nice finish. I prefer cream and sweetener with my coffee, and this really adds to the flavor. What is interesting about this blend, is that it is powerful if you enjoy coffee without the additions. I also like this particular blend, because you can have an espresso coffee without having an espresso machine. Yes, I know that in the coffee world, that is a no no, but a lot of people don't own espresso machines.
